Concerns surround her background in eco-terrorist activity.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and others have reservations about Presiden Biden’s Interior Department nominee Tracy Stone-Manning. “We now know that President Biden’s nominee to run the Bureau of Land Management lied to the Senate about her alleged participation in eco-terrorism,” McConnell said. “The White House should immediately withdraw her nomination.”
The president’s administration has continued to support Ms. Stone-Manning, and she was open about the referred-to incident during her Senate questioning. She had sent a message in the 1990s to the government regarding an area being heavily tree-spiked to prevent logging. She claimed she wanted to prevent injuries and had “no involvement in the spiking of trees.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Senator McConnell as the Senate assesses nominees for integrity and fit for the positions to which they’ve been appointed.
- For the Bureau of Land Management as they steward U.S. public lands.
- That the president would seek God’s guidance as he nominates individuals to government agencies.
